I'm wondering how many people with 3rd gen 3sgte swaps, particularly ST205 motors have their A/C working.
I'm looking into doing a ST205 3sgte swap into a different Toyota - not any gen Celica nor my Camry, something completely different.

In order to be able to pull this swap off the A/C would have to work properly. I'm just too old to deal with no A/C in Tx anymore.
I would send off harnesses to the Doc but I feel there is more involved than just the wiring in the engine looms, but not sure what exaclty.
Any insight from those with working A/C would be greatly appreciated - thanks smile.gif

oddly enough, when install my 93 sard ecu (rewired harness) AC stops working. i wonder if its a side effect of a rom tuned ecu or if its a problem with the 93 ecu in general.
if i put the 90 ecu back in, it works perfectly.

My 93 engine's A/C had some problem that stumped it's previous owners - I just yanked all those "unnecessary systems" when I rebuilt the car thinking to save weight and drag on the engine - I'm kind of wishing I hadn't. It's possible I had the same thing you are experiencing?

Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.
Slow down Paul Walker.
