I'm not sure if this is an easy fix or a very hard one. That being said here goes...
I cannot shift into 2nd 4th and reverse. I pulled out in 1st gear and tried getting in to 2nd. i got in 2nd, but the gear felt real mushy, and i did not even notice it was in gear. so i shift up to 3rd fine, but when i tried to get into 4th it was real mushy again. I then proceeded to pull over For some reason i shut the car off and then fired it back up. I tried getting in to 2nd, 4th, and reverse, Nothing at all. My dad is really mad at me because he thinks I am running my car to hard(I treat my car like a baby btw), and he has no idea whats wrong with it. Please any suggestions of what might be wrong will be greatly appreciated Thanks, Evan |

I had similar problems like that. Its was the clip that holds the shift linkage. Its right above the transmission looking from the top with the hood open. Its should have 2 clips. Ones for the low gears and ones for the high gears I think but I know theres 2 of them. I have them same issue and noticed them missing.I added new ones and I was good as new. Not sure if this is your problem but it sounds just like what happened to me
