I'm wondering how many people with 3rd gen 3sgte swaps, particularly ST205 motors have their A/C working.
I'm looking into doing a ST205 3sgte swap into a different Toyota - not any gen Celica nor my Camry, something completely different. In order to be able to pull this swap off the A/C would have to work properly. I'm just too old to deal with no A/C in Tx anymore. I would send off harnesses to the Doc but I feel there is more involved than just the wiring in the engine looms, but not sure what exaclty. Any insight from those with working A/C would be greatly appreciated - thanks -------------------- '87 AW11 MR2 "Super R2" 4AG-ZE swapped Stage 1 Complete

I'm kindof doing a ST205 swap, I just have the block and head, I'm adding my own turbo and have a front mount I/C setup, I'm using all of my old 5sfe pullies, sensors and other accessories. The 5s compressor should bolt right in to the block, so you can take the compressor off of your old block and leave the entire cooling system intact during the swap, just bolt the 5sfe compressor onto the 3s block. I don't see it being an issue since the 3s and 5s blocks are nearly identical. But I haven't dropped my engine in yet so I can't tell you for sure, I can just say that the blocks are nearly identical and this should work.
