3rd gear grinding...HELP!, Could it be synchromesh??? Options

Hey guys, I have had my Celi for about 3 years now and had my 3rd gear grinding for a couple months. I thought I would fix it soon, but between work and school I haven't had that much time. Now that I have a little more time on my hands, I figured I'll fix it. Whenever I am going from 2nd into 3rd I get a LOT of grinding. I can double clutch and it still grinds but a little less. I avoided 3rd gear for a while because I didn't want to cause permanent damage or anything like that, but now I am getting tired of this. I need to fix it. I've seen that some people have changed their synchromesh fluid and the grinding has went away. Could this be the solution to my problem??? I am not an expert on tranny's, but I am also not clueless. Anyone has any ideas on how to stop the grinding. Any help would be appreciated.

it's definetly helped a few guys here with theyre minor issues. at worse, you waste 40$ worth of fluid. at best you save several hundred dollars not replacing a tranny.
worth a shot IMO.
