Quick question...will 7th gen front seats bolt directly into a 6th gen?

Not sure why you'd want to do any welding on them...doesn't sound very safe. I put them in my Celica- all you have to do is take the bottom metal support piece off of the 6th gen seat cushion and swap it onto the 7th gen seat (you have to completely disassemble them to do that, but its not hard at all)....no welding required and perfect fitment.

welding is welding....your brackets are spot welded your car is spot welded....not a matter of safe jus if its done right
