Quick question...will 7th gen front seats bolt directly into a 6th gen?

Not sure why you'd want to do any welding on them...doesn't sound very safe. I put them in my Celica- all you have to do is take the bottom metal support piece off of the 6th gen seat cushion and swap it onto the 7th gen seat (you have to completely disassemble them to do that, but its not hard at all)....no welding required and perfect fitment.

any tips or picts to illustrate your point?? i've got both seats.. i've tried removing the slider.. but the i cant seem to dissemble the seats.. i need pointers.. i cant find the bolt/screw to remove the top part of the seat which connects to the frame.. the bottom part was easy.. just 4bolts and the seats comes off..
