When I start the car up for the first time in the morning a big cloud of white smoke comes out sometimes. but after that it starts up with out any smoke at all. Anyone know this problem?

My car also does this, with a slight blue tinge (which I know to mean that it's burning oil... I think)
Just a small, sparse puff of blue-white smoke as it starts and exhaust is clean afterwards. Not just the first start of the day, however, every time the car is started cold.
