My convertible top has a leak but before I deal with that, I need to know how to drain the water out of the area behind the rear seats but in front of the trunk. I can hear it sloshing around so I assume there are drain holes that are clogged up but I can't find them. The interior isn't wet and the trunk is dry. If someone could describe a specific drain location or even better, post a pic, I would be eternally grateful. Thanks.

is it in the plastic behind the seats when your top is up?

is it in the plastic behind the seats when your top is up? After closer inspection, it does look like at least some of the water is on top of part of the vinyl/plastic behind the seats (when the top is up as you say). It appears to broken away from whatever was securing it and is holding some water from wherever it's leaking. Still, I'd love to know where the drain holes are so that I can make sure that they are open before I start pouring more water in to find the leak(s). |
