hey guys im thinking about picking up a st185 Canadian all trac dirt cheap...the cars been wrecked beyond repair and I'm wondering how hard it will be to make my 95 st Celica AT200 into an st205 with st185 Drive train(Motor, transmission, drive shaft, rear sub frame, diff.,axles, and rear suspension) what is required? is it possible? or can i only do front wheel drive with the engine?

it would be very difficult to convert a ST to awd considering there is nothing in common between the two celica frames.

the easiest route to take would be to take the engine and mount it to your existing transmission.

This is actually a pretty common swap, you can read more about it by searching the forums.

not quite true

the AT200 frame is closest to the ST205 in terms of AWD setup due to the fact it is based off a 4wd car (caldina? idr)

and his ST tranny will not bolt to the 3s. the C52 is an A series tranny

but no, the drivetrain of the st185 is too different to bolt onto the T20 chassis
