I have a 99 6G convertible. This was a pretty beat up car. I have replaced front fenders, in process of replacing top, plus a host of other issues. The car had engine fire that melted vacuum lines and anything else above and around fuel rail. Anyway I am trying to identify component that is just to the right (facing car) of wiper motor. It has one vacuum line and 3 electrical wires. I don't know what it is, or what it does. Any help would be appreciated, and if anyone has one of these I want to buy it. Thanks, Ron (foilman) in central Calif.

there's a bolt w/ a plastic "head" that has 2 nipples for vacuum lines on it, on the left side of the intake mani, within 6 inches of the map sensor. maybe she still works smile.gif

Schematic says map sensor goes to gas filter. Not sure where that is. Plastic head within six inches of map sensor w/ plastic head not there. There is however two separate vacuum connectors on intake manifold within six inches. Also fuel rail has vacuum connection fairly close by. I know I need to get some pictures up, and I will try. Not very good on the computer. Thanks, Ron.
