has anyone done a top mount IC on a 5sfte setup? if so ca i see a pic?

that's not necessarily true. if it was, why would toyota put top mounts on all their motors? such as the GZE, and the 3s...when used properly with a hood scoop and heat dispersion vents, a TMIC can be much more effective than a FMIC...reason being is because there is relatively NO piping, therefore, very minimal loss of boost pressure. also, when upgraded with somethin like an ARC top mount, it really is a hell of a lot more practical to use a top mount. front mounts just look cooler.  . i wanna do a top mount on my GZE, but for the tiem being i'm doing a front mount, only because i don't know how i want to incorporate a hood scoop into my hood, and also, i wanna get my hands on that ARC TMIC....anyway, i seriously doubt a TMIC will fit on the 5sfe without some nice modifications to the hood, and as far as i know, no one has done that yet... -John- -------------------- AIM==Mynzeyes
