For those who haven't seen it, I've got a progress thread going in the Multimedia section and now that I've got the motor in, I've got a no-start situation.

I picked up a rebuilt 5s from celicatech that was out of a 93 convertible. I pulled my old motor and swapped over all the sensors (I did miss the sensor by the crank pulley) and accessories but now that I'm trying to start the car, I'm not getting any power when I turn the key to the 'on' position.

The courtesy lights work as does the airbag light, but those are the only dummy lights that come on when the key is turned. I've gone over all of the fuses and there are none that are blown. I'm only showing one wire that has power at the ecu and the other 2-3 that should when the key is turned are coming up as grounded. I'm at a loss as to what the issue could be.

Also, will I be able to run the motor without that sensor by the crank pulley? I really need to get this car running......

Thanks!

do you get power at the pins with the ecm unplugged? how about plugged in? could be a damaged computer or a relay not kicking over to feed power
