Hey guys,
Every time I go from 1st to second gear, if I don't ease it in real slow than it will grind... Usually if I'm up to or higher than 3k RPMs in first and shift, it will grind regardless. All the other gears go in real easy, and as fast as I can put them in. Does anyone have a reason for me as to why this might be happening? -------------------- |

well actually my car does the same thing mostly 2nd and 3rd so a good way to check if it is the tranny would be to rmp match it when you shift without using the clutch we did this with my car and we are 90% sure its actually the clutch we think the pressure plate is collapsing so maybe just something to check into.

I'm not a genius at this stuff, but if it was the clutch wouldn't it be grinding on all gears???? |
