I'm planning to trade my car with a 94 st. The owner replaced the clutch with stage 1. If you step on the clutch and hold it for 5 seconds it won't allow me to shift. I have to turn off the engine to be able to shift. But it shifts fine as long as you won't hold the clutch with that span of time. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

sounds like either the master or slave cylinder is bleeding out pressure, is it loosing clutch fluid? if not then its probably an internal leak within the clutch master cylinder. if it is leaking out well then duh, find where its leaking out and fix it.
