Ok, today going to school, a spark plug shot out and did a good number on my hood. Got a nice bump as a momento to scar my car and never forget this day. I got the problem situated, but now when I drive, my vision is obstructed by that nasty bump. For a dinger such as that, any recommendations on how I can fix this? I wouldn't mind so much if it was dented in, but it is dented out. Or am I seriously going to have to cough up another hood in the future and suffer until then? It's about a size of what a spark plug would do, no bigger than a dime in fully diameter in a convex manner.

Not sure what your options are with the GT-four hood - as it's aluminum and much more delicate than the stock monster hood.

I would look into having it knocked out by a professional, but it might cost you less to buy another hood. So go out and get a couple quotes.

And post some pictures! I want to see the carnage.
