It was a sad day to everyone and I hope we can remember it forever. Jim lost his cousin that he was very close to she was pregnant and worked in the WTC. I think its a good time to share stories and videos and remember this day together.

I know people say they never forgot what they were doing at that moment so even sharing that moment with us would be really sweet.

I was in San Diego, 3 days from graduation from Marine Corps Boot Camp. They got 75 of us in a tiny little office just in time for me to hold the antenna up and see the second tower get hit. They completely locked the base down, nobody in or out. They told all of us that we were straight to the sand after combat school. my family (and ex-fiance, well, then girlfriend) were getting ready to fly out of lincoln, just starting the takeoff progress, then the reparked and unloaded the plane, and my grandparents got stuck in Denver for a couple days. nobody was able to make it for my graduation. On thursday night, the 13th, they said families could get on base if they had their recruits SS# and platoon information. We had, at the time, the largest company ever to go through san diego, and the smallest crowd in the history of the recruit depot. pretty miserable.
