I've pretty much got all of it down, but i've heard about some kind of liquid inside the front tube...what exactly is the liquid and what should i replace it with should i spill it or something?

You shouldn't have liquid to worry about. The cartridge should be sealed.
Although if you feel that you must replace any water that's gotten between the cartridge and the carrier make sure you replace it with deionized water. It won't rust the metal as badly as tap or saltwater will. |
