Hi, has anyone used negun auctions to buy anything from japan to be posted to Europe or america, most of the stuff is on japenese yahoo actions and i think negun processes it for you. I was wondering how smooth this process is and how the whole postage thing works? dont want to bid and win and then not be able to contact japanese retailers about postage/payment issues etc

cheers joe

Well long story short, winning the auctions is pretty easy, and simple. It works like an online auciton bidding service (obviously).

Well first off, before you can bid, you have to have enough money in your nengun account to make a bid for whatever item. The cost of the bid usually includes the item itself, shipage to your location, and around a 15-30 dollar service fee. Also, you can add funds to your account with paypal/wire transfer etc.

And if you didnt notice, you need an account with nengun in order to participate with all of this.

One thing to note though, is that shipping is expensive. Myself, if i were to ship anything statside, shipping would be incredible, like 100-400 dollars!! Thank god that isnt an issue for myself though. So before you sign up an account take that into consideration. They are also nice enough to were, when you are about to make a bid, they have this great price breakdown of everything you would have to pay (excluding duty fees).

Also, i just won something off of there as well, and it took a minute for them to process it(about a week), and afterwards, they sent notification of preparing to ship the item. One thing i like about the whole process, is that they keep you updated the whole time, either through your account, or whatever email you used to set up that account. They give pretty nice esitmates on shipping dates, how much an item will cost, and overall it seems to be working well for me.

Here ill give you an idea of what i mean

Best bet would be to make some friends in japan, and ship that way lol.

Hope this helps.!!
