to put it simply, the engine shakes a fair bit during idle, but stops in gear.

I believe its adjusted by the cable under the hood. Sappose you just turn the screw a few times til you find where you want it.

Sappose you just turn the screw a few times til you find where you want it. its strictly an idle issue.... it has nothing to do with running the car at hi rpm or anyhing like that i can start it, it will shake while it idles around 700-800 rpm, i can rev it up to 3000+ and let it go back down, once it gets back to its normal idle it shakes again. Idle speed is the same as its been for the past 6 months so turning up the idle will not effect anything if its been running this long just fine. engine mounts? bad fuel? electrical?
