Caught testing out at the N-Ring in Germany, this nearly completed LF-A is showing a very close to production ready piece. With no disguises minus the headlights.
Spotting white, rather undisguised Lexus supercars doesn't happen every day and on this occasion the spy photographers certainly copped an eyeful. Caught testing in Germany at the Nurburgring, the relatively undisguised Lexus LF-A wore German plates and had only the lights covered from prying eyes. These shots show that the car is very nearly finished with front and rear bumpers, diffuser and clearly active spoiler all out in the open. Rumoured to contain a 4.8 litre V10 engine, the LF-A should be on show in Tokyo next month and may be available as early as next year if final testing all goes to plan. The LF-A has excellent proportions and a muscular design retaining the tri-exhaust seen in the concept version. We are not so sure on the rear air intake 'horns' or ducts protruding from the flanks. Nevertheless, horns or not, the long awaited production version will be a bold new move for the Japanese firm. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Yeah, this car is some serious FAIL! I'm glad I'll never have to lose countless nights of sleep debating whether or not I should buy this joke of a car or not.
HAHAHA, joking!!!! How can anyone think this car is anything but awesome. It's a hell of a lot more sleek than the GTR. It's got similar styling of the R8 (think fascia). It doesn't look cheap like a 'vette. This car exudes L-finesse. And it can reach a top speed of 200 mph (ever wonder why those select cars that can tend to look similar?). And for a price tag of nearly a quarter million, this car better be pretty gosh darn dramatic! Hell, if I'm going to forsake a house for a car, people better darn know to get the heck out of my way when they see me in that monster of car in their rear-view mirror. ![]() This post has been edited by CAMAricer: Sep 22, 2009 - 2:15 AM -------------------- ![]() ![]() 2002 SC430 (WC) - 19" SSR Comp-H, Daizen swaybars, Sparco Demons, JDM Soarer conversion, carbon fiber spoiler, Injen intake, front strut bar, drilled/slotted Brembo rotors 1997 Celica ST (DD) - 17" ADR, ViS Zyclone CF hood, ViS CF hatch, K&N intake, Invader body kit |
