I was thinking about shaving the radio antenna off of my Celica and replacing it with a hidden radio antenna. My antenna is broken and never goes down, which in my opinion looks ugly. Would it be a good idea to shave it, or should I replace it with a stock antenna that actually works, or a non-stock shorter antenna?

Also, if I do decide to shave it, how would I go about doing it? How can I remove the stock one, wire the new one, cover the hole, etc? Is there a tutorial anywhere?

That looks like a good idea. Any pics of a 6G with that installed? Other than the small pic on the tutorial?

Edit: Nevermind I found pics. It looks good. I was just wondering, if I do the mod, should I follow that tutorial, or should I do the one that requires the 7th gen parts? I'm not looking to spend a lot of money and this mod, since it's just the antenna.
