I was thinking about shaving the radio antenna off of my Celica and replacing it with a hidden radio antenna. My antenna is broken and never goes down, which in my opinion looks ugly. Would it be a good idea to shave it, or should I replace it with a stock antenna that actually works, or a non-stock shorter antenna?

Also, if I do decide to shave it, how would I go about doing it? How can I remove the stock one, wire the new one, cover the hole, etc? Is there a tutorial anywhere?

This would be something to do if you got the car repainted...not just for the shaved antenna look.

And I'd also get the rear wiper, rear fluid sprayer, and front license plate holes shaved off. smile.gif
