i really want tanabe because they are a japanese brand and have been around for 20 years, but of course you cannot adjust dampening which sucks and defeats the purpose of a coilover.
I guess im going with megan after all. Do the metal strut mount plates have an advantage over our oem/kyb stock strut mounts. Do the metal plates transfer alot more noise into the chassis and effect ride comfort?? -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts

I guess im going with megan after all. Do the metal strut mount plates have an advantage over our oem/kyb stock strut mounts. Do the metal plates transfer alot more noise into the chassis and effect ride comfort?? no difference in the mounts, they are both metal anyways. I have heard of people making noise but I just think they didn't tighten well enough, tune it well enough, or are hitting big ass bumps. Bonus of coilovers is that skinnier coil springs allows you to play with offset settings better. Not truely a disadvantage that it is made in Taiwan, Japan and US make crappy products too. Its all perception. If you found out later Tein was actually made in indonesia or india, you'd still respect the product. thats how I perceive it. -------------------- 94 Celica GT
