write down what you dont understand, go to an auto store and tell them some guy on the internet told me to do this to my car cuz i have a dent i want gone .........and im not as old as you think That's why you left such a retarded reply. Do not use body filler to fix the entire dent. It WILL crack after a couple years, it WILL warp, and you WILL be paying to do it again if you use this method. Body filler is called body filler for a reason. If it was supposed to be a body "maker" it would be called body maker. Drill a hole, use a dent puller, and get it as close to straight as you can. Sand down to metal with a coarse sand paper, and take that rust off. Use SPARSE amounts of body filler to make everything line up correctly. You should NEVER go more than 1/4 inch thick with that stuff. Once the body filler is to your satisfaction and dry, sand with 100 grit (Less coarse than 80) Wipe dust off. Primer. Flash dry, Sand again. Wipe dust off, rinse and repeat using finer and finer grit sand papers as you go through primer, color, and clear coats. You should wind up using around 2000 grit by the time you're done. |
