OK, so first off I'm swapping in a 3rd revision 3S-GTE into my 94 GT. I'm also swapping the E-153 LSD transmission, and the hybrid "frankenstein" axle for the front, consisting of the inner portion from the 93-95 MR2Turbo, and the outers from an st185. The rear axles are staying the same.
My issue is, i want to put larger breaks on there. Will the st204 rotors and calipers i already have (or rather if i get larger st204 rotors and calipers) work if I'm using the st185 outer axles? |

ok, i know you are from Japan but its spelled BRAKES.
now the part that the rotor + caliper bolt on to, are still what came on your car you use the same brakes. The part where the brakes and the axle meet is called a KNUCKLE. You should still be using your OEM knuckle and so yes....your axles have nothing to do with your brakes and you can still use the ST204 calipers and rotors. |
