So as a potential fix of the problems described here:
http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=69874 We are thinking of taking the all in one distributor out of the 7A and replacing it with a coil pack, ignighter, and traditional distributor... It might solve the problem and it might be more resistant to the heat issue we were witnessing... has anyone tried this before? Or is it still possible to blaze new trails in the 6gc world? -------------------- -Mike

You'll probably need a different computer to run the external coil and whatnot... cause the distributor pickup system between the two may be radically different. I tend to think they are, and if they are... it's better to go all out with Coil over plugs and a programmable ignition system.
