Think these might work, is it a good deal??

The rear brake conversion for 250, but it says 93+ Does anyone know if it will fit? I am thinking it might because the 5th and 7th have the same rotor pattern, then again Im not so mechanically inclined. can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks Jeremy

Well, if you're just a point A to point B person, then yes it's not worth it. But if you're reasons are for the sake of performance, braking is a major consideration. A lot of people like to talk about exhausts, intakes, and force induction... but we see very few topics relating to one of the most importance performance upgrades: suspension and braking. We'll see questions like is X brand good? or should I get Y brand instead? or Do they make Z rotors for my car? It'd be nice if we could all discuss these more, but it just seems like people are primarily focused on just upgrading without knowing the true benefits of the upgrades. Let's not take these things for granted.

Sorry for rambling, but going back to the subject, I think brakes are a great upgrade and I don't see why a 5th gen kit wouldn't fit. I read from someone's site who used Camry parts. However, like Dr. Evil said, you may want to consider just getting parts from a local junkyard or through car-parts.com. You might be able to save some money as well.

good point... it makes me wonder if people thing bigger wheels bigger brakes? most people don't know both go hand and hand... also a lot of people talk about doing a swap or turbo.. but do they think if the cars has more power its going to need more stopping power also?
