I'm looking to race a G6 in 2010, the series is UK based and for any make & model that was marketed in any country prior to 31/12/93.
This model Celica appeals to me due to its relatively high bhp as standard. The problem is, the car is normally listed as having a M.Y between 94>99. I believe the production run was from Sept93 to July99. I have seen G6's advertised for sale that say they are 1993 JDM imports. This however, may not be correct. Can anyone confirm & point me in the direction of documentation, that the Generation 6 Celica was sold in Japan in 1993? I have tried a UK based Celica forum, but as yet no clarification. I look forward to hearing from the experts. Thanks, Eliot |

Thanks, Eliot Eliot - if your quote of the rules is verbatim.... specifically, any make & model that was marketed in any country prior to 31/12/93. the 6CG should qualify... you should have seen advertisements, flyers, even autoshow displays would have been in 1993... with them being for sale late in 1993 - its hard to remember how that all was 15 odd years ago but now you can basically get a 2010 model car by June of 2009... so please take a very close look at the wording and come back to us ![]() -------------------- -Mike
