I found a bodykit online http://www.bodykits.com/VIS-Racing/Body-Ki...-Body-Kit/5711/
now i know VIS is not going to fit like a veilside, but has any one had experience with this kind of kit? also if you could check the link, and tell me if its a reasonable price for this kit? Im not really sure of any of this. Also i want to have it put on correctly so i will be bringing my car to an autobody shop to have it put on. does any one happen to know a rough estimate of installation? (not having it molded) If any one can like break down the pricing of like, getting it installed, and having it/ the whole car painted? (not going with crazy custom paint just normal paint) thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out here. Really want to get my car looking nice. -------------------- |

It's hard to give you a good estimate, since every shop has their own price, but to get the kit fitted properly, and your car looking decent, I would expect to spend a minimum of $1,500 for install and paint (not including the price of the kit itself). Depending on the fitment of the kit, shops can charge anywhere from $100-$500 or more if the fitment is really bad. A decent looking paint job should cost no less than $1000 range, but from your profile pictures, it seems like your paint and car looks to be in good condition.
Personally, I would recommend you stay away from this kit altogether. You have a pretty clean Celica there already. What kind of plans do you have for your car in the long run? -------------------- |

I dont have too many plans for my car, it's my first car and ive done ALOT of work to it so i want to keep it looking nice. When i got the car it didnt move lol. so im looking into any possible thing i can do to keep it looking good. you say it would cost about $1500 installed and painted, could you break that price down a little, like what if i just had them install it (i have a friend in a body shop that can paint) or what if i install it and have them paint it? thanks alot for any help you can be giving me. -------------------- |
