I don't need the motor anymore for my power antenna. I was wondering, on the bottom of the motor, there seems to be a thick black chord coming out of it which I can only assume is powering this. Is it safe to cut the chord when the car is off so I don't have to have this broken monstrosity in my celica? No, I don't need to ever hook up another motor to it in the future.
Thanks for the help in advance. CastrolCelica- This post has been edited by CastrolCelica: Oct 17, 2009 - 11:51 PM -------------------- ![]() |

yup, drainage tube. Just for future reference though the power antenna has constant power going to it, snipping the 3wire bundle that goes to it would result in a blown fuse (I don't know which one mind you), not the end of the world I guess but the spark and resulting pop may scare you a little
