i was just reading about that to make sure, Ferdi, this upgrade does not require you to save all your files, it is "SUPPOSED TO" leave all that intact from what i just read..
BUT you can never be too sure, save things on an external HDD if you have one, or a large flash drive, or start burning to some dvd's. lol Straight from MS -- QUOTE What does upgrade mean?
Upgrade means you can install Windows 7 by simply inserting the Windows 7 upgrade software into your PC's DVD drive and follow the instructions on your screen. While you're not required to backup and reinstall your files, or reinstall your programs, it's a very good idea to back up your files and settings before you start any software upgrade.
