My rear strut mounts are bad. I just bought a full coilover kit and it comes w/ the upper ball mounts. Heres the dumb question.....you ready? Do i need to replace the strut mounts before i install them or will i not be using them? I needed to replace the strut mounts to pass inspection hence the reason for asking. Any response is appreciated thanks.

I think lowering comes before wheels. At stock height, it looks like you need bigger wheels to fill the wheel gap. After you lower it, a smaller wheel will suffice. Also, how low you are affects what offset you'll need for a flush fitment. But, in this case, at least some hubcaps would have helped
![]() Just playing, Red Phoenix. It's looking pretty good. When I did the suspension on my car, we took a grinder and went to town on the bolts. You'll have to buy new end links, but at this point in your car's life, it needs them anyway. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates.
