Hello,
I have a jerky celica to deal with at around 2000 rpm when shifting gears. Usually from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd gear this happens. When I release clutch upon the gear shift, the engine will jerk a few times upo acceleration, causing my head to jerk back and forth before delivering smooth power? My car is 94 Celica GT-S 5SFE and 5 spd manual equipped. It has around 105k miles and t-belt was changed by dealer recently. I think plug/wires are still OEM. Car is in prett good shape except for this annying issue. Thanks everyone! |

just curious... how long have you been driving a stick? specifically the celica? cause im dead confident that its not the engine, but its your style/technique in driving a manual transmission.... is bad...
