Hello,
I have a jerky celica to deal with at around 2000 rpm when shifting gears. Usually from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd gear this happens. When I release clutch upon the gear shift, the engine will jerk a few times upo acceleration, causing my head to jerk back and forth before delivering smooth power? My car is 94 Celica GT-S 5SFE and 5 spd manual equipped. It has around 105k miles and t-belt was changed by dealer recently. I think plug/wires are still OEM. Car is in prett good shape except for this annying issue. Thanks everyone! |

If the higher RPM shift doesn't help, then think about a tune-up.
Mine acted like that no matter when I shifted.A 6GCer suggested check wires, plugs, dizzy. Did a basic tune-up & all is good!! |
