So I'm thinking of getting some engine parts i previously had powder coated in a glossy finish stripped and either going with
- Satin paint - Satin powder coating - Black Anodizing Parts in question Hardline Tubes Valve Cover Oil Sub Plate? Various Brakets What is everyone using? And are you having success with regards to durability? This post has been edited by qatar11: Oct 26, 2009 - 8:03 PM -------------------- -Mike

to powder coat the block you'd need to totally tear the engine down to a bare block, get it hot tanked and the outside bead blasted, then masked, powdered/baked. you have to take the engine out of the car and totally apart.

to powder coat the block you'd need to totally tear the engine down to a bare block, get it hot tanked and the outside bead blasted, then masked, powdered/baked. you have to take the engine out of the car and totally apart. I believe that he is doing this to a spare engine that will then be re-installed into the bay. However, I agree, it's a LOT of work... -TC -------------------- Live your life for yourself.
