my celica has peeling clear coat on the hood of it, anyone know how to fix this other than wetsanding it and then reclearcoating it? just wondering

The macco up here quoted me at 300 too, nobody around here will clear coat over someone eleses paint job

The macco up here quoted me at 300 too, nobody around here will clear coat over someone eleses paint job Well that's kind of stupid! $300 is kind of steep for just a hood spray! Even though they're re-painting the turquoise as well. But I'm guessing the paint shops doesn't want to re-spray just the clear because of warranty issues? If that's the case, I'd tell them to wetsand and clear and void the warranty. I bet it'll save you a lot of money! |
