Like it says 87, 91 or more? whats better for performance or gas milage?

hmm still debating whether to mix toluene or racing fuel. but at the same time racing fuel is leaded and all cars require unleaded fuel only. darn So cal
i know that adding toluen to achieve a level of 93 octane wont be the same as 93 octane that you pump from a gas station but what else can i do, have a drum of 93 octane shipped to my house every month...
