I recently got my distributor replaced, and I know that there can't be any reason why that would make my speakers stop working, because they were playing when I drove away from the mechanic. I went home and turned the car off, and went to my room for a bit to put more songs on my mp3 player to play in my car. Went out to my car, turned it on, turned on my mp3 player, had it plugged it, no sound. I am sooooo ****ing pissed off, like the equalizer shows that it's playing, but there is absolutely no sound. I tried fooling with the wires in the back, I tried disconnecting the negative from the battery. It can't be the speakers, they're not even two years old. What else could be the problem?

thats great, i think its weird that you stereo hooks up differently though, when i got a new stereo i was told by 2 car audio shops that i had to have a head unit that was compatible with the wiring adapter above. what did you get for a head unit and how does it sound?
