i just placed an order for a set of sportlines, 1.5inch drop. the guy from tirerack said that i should get the alignment kit for the springs. then i call up a local shop and they said that i dont need the kit.
my plan is to try to have a friend do the spring install and then take the car to a shop to have them do an alignment. i figure that a shop should have everything i need to get the alignment done right. so do i need the alignment kit or not? Here is a link to the alignment kit im talking about. This post has been edited by lagos: Dec 12, 2003 - 2:57 PM -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

ok, i wont get the kit.
man, everyone is so 50/50 on this topic. i just really wanted to make sure that i dont get my springs installed and then find out that i made a mistake and that i have to redo everything to fix the camber. if i do end up needing some type of camber adjustment, i found out that i can just get some ceap crash bolts from toyota that basicly do the same thing. i feel better that everyone who has the sprotline+17s combo, didnt need camber adjustment. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
