not sure if everyone knows and i missed the memo haha but im curious as to why the chat is down again. im guessing its the same problem as last time. Manny, any news? if theres already another thread like this i appologize. i know the old one is locked so thats why i didnt post there.

I hate the chat. HATE it. It's not Mac friendly and I think it's buggy and cumbersome, not to mention that it's not really private.
Will you guys try this one? If it works well I'm going to place a redirect on the original link and use this one. Sorry if you have to register first - that's part of the plan though, so that way the chat won't be so vulnerable to weird outside people who are completely unrelated. Plus, its structure is much more similar to the way the chat on here is/was set up. Except I *hope* it doesn't suck up the server or anything. (I don't think it will?) http://www.griffgirl.com/forum/chat I set up the forum just as a gateway to the chat, since the chat program is contingent on an sql database and phpbb3. There's even a category started in the forum though if you guys want to actually use it.
