when ever i detail my engine bay i always avoid putting a water in it.
So how do you suppose to keep the alternator clean? Or more importantly how do you clean it? |

in that case, just take a brass or stainless steel brush to it. its not dust, its corrosion. clean the surface and paint it silver.

in that case, just take a brass or stainless steel brush to it. its not dust, its corrosion. clean the surface and paint it silver. it dust. If i took a pressure water to my alternator it would brand new. But from my past experience water in the alternator is not good. The last time I pressure washed the engine a check engine light came on and i have to physically go through ALL the connectors with an air compressor. That was not fun. |
