So my clutch burned out last night on the middle of the highway and I had to get my car towed. The garage it got towed to said estimated repairs would be $1938 for new clutch, flywheel, and a few other things - and thats with a 15% old employee discount.
My mechanic friend recommended instead of getting it fixed with stock parts I look into a performance clutch kit. The problem is Im a college student and $2000 would take forever to raise. What would you guys recommend? my car is a virtually stock 1995GT minus new head unit and cone filter intake any help would be greatly appreciated This post has been edited by celicat: Nov 16, 2009 - 7:00 PM |

if you are mechanically inclined, if it is your clutch only, will cost you avg. 200 bucks for an exedy performance clutch.
