I absolutely love the body and style of the celica, but i really hate most bodykits besides the gt4, the only thing i would do to my car is put the rear splitters on and find a really small front lip from a different car. i just think the celica has a really bubbly and round body style which is great but most the kits are too sharp and edgy. again just a personal opinion, i dont want to offend anybody with a body kit

Nothing wrong with wanting medium.
But err... Classy is a broad definition and most broad definitions are a very vague term of describing what people like or dont like. I have yet to meet a person older than myself that loves celicas. I have yet to meet a person older than myself who could identify what kind of car I drive (since I dont have any badges on my celi). If I put a mitsubishi sticker on or a honda or a subaru or whatever.. they would think that my car was that car. Not to say they would like it more or less... its just most people have no idea what celica looks like outside of junker late 80's celicas or the newer 2001+ models. I think that whatever rocks your boat.. you should stick with that... but no matter what you do you are doing it for others and not yourself. You can persuade yourself otherwise but in reality when sitting inside your car it does not matter what color it is or how big your wheels are or if you have sparkly dangling things on your antenna because you can't see it from inside and you don't spend 16 hours of your time looking at your car anyways. Think of your car as a chunk of clay that you can mold into anything that you like. Except that anyone over age 30 will give you "rolling eyes" regardless of what you do to it... unless of course your car looks like 300,000,000 other cars that drive on the road and in that case they wont notice it at all. Sorry, but you're dead wrong (in my case). I don't modify my car for anyone else. Like you said, nobody knows what I drive. So I appreciate it when people give me a compliment on the car of course, and I appreciate it even more when they know what I'm driving (like when a guy in a 5GC gave me a thumbsup). But I'm doing this for me, not to impress people. Sure I like when people look at my car, but I don't aim to add style to my car to impress others. -------------------- '97 ST \ Eibach \ KYB \ Kenwood \ Alpine \ Cusco \ OEM+ [sold 10/18]
