Need ecu 896612G261-84, plus EGR vacuum switching valve. Any help or ideas really appreciated. EGR functional test failed, had engine fire and probably affected ecu (m). Thanks, Ron. 99 GT Vert.

change the cheapest part first; which would be the egr vacuum solenoid.
After that call around your local parts store and tell them you need a ecu and provide them the part number to cross reference. The ecu is gonna cost around 200 dollars. |
