I want to go with HR Springs but it seems like KYB is the the only strut/shock available for our cars except for Koni $$$. I need a list of whats needed to do it right ....... thanks

you dont need a spring compressor...it isnt necessary but for safety when taking off the old strut top nuts

you dont need a spring compressor...it isnt necessary but for safety when taking off the old strut top nuts +1 I borrowed a spring compressor from a friend out of fear of injury, only to discover that it was utterly pointless. I only used it for one of the springs, and for the others the top nut only sprung off the mount about 6 inches. Our stock springs are under very little compression when not installed on the vehicle. There are a few youtube videos on spring installations that show what happens when you don't use a spring compressor. It isn't necessary, but do what you please. |
