Hey My RPM idle sits around 1100-1000 RPM. I brought it to a mechanic he tried a lot of things, and still can't figure out what is wrong. Anyone here might know what is wrong with it? I need it fixed, soo i can go smog it and register my car. Thanks in advance.

dont think our cars have idle air control screws. I believe it is controlled by an idle air control valve which is electronically controlled by the computer.
I would recomend you clean your throttle body with a toothbrush and then reset your ecu by disconnecting your battery for 10 minutes. This will force the cars computer to relearn the idle and fuel mixture. |
