Hellical or mechanical ?, how to tell.. Options

I have trannies with LSD's I'm only keeping one, the issue is, one is a mechanical TRD LSD and the other is a hellical TRD LSD.

of course the guy who got them for me, didn't mark them down, so I don't know which one is which.

I want to keep the hellical as is maintance free, oppose to the mechanical that uses clutches.

if you have any idea of how to identify each without taking the engine apart, please share the acknowledge.

see edit above with pn. yeah either way you have an e153 with lsd. when you get home you can narrow it down alittle more by looking at it. the bar on the helical one should match the pics in the spyderchat link. also when you look in the speed sensor hole you should be able to see the helical gears if it is a helical lsd
