so i picked up a HID kit that was decently priced and completely plug and play. so far so good with them and the difference has been great in night time visibility. i wasn't sure how the hid's would be without projectors, but the headlights don't shine up too far, so i'm not blinding the hell out of people while driving down the road.
also did the courtesy lights in the high beams that funkysr did and kind of an interesting look to it. still trying to decide if i want to put in different color bulbs or if i want led bulbs. i was able to find some 194 bulb sockets from headlights at work that were gonna get thrown out, so i figured what the hell. they aren't bright at all, but in the pics it seems like the high beams are on even though they are not. really easy to do and cheap if you can locate some bulb sockets and know how to solder a couple wires. ![]() color difference with the hid's vs. the courtesy lights ![]() difference between hids on my car and standard halogen bulbs on my work vehicle (benz ml350 with h7 bulbs)
