what are your toughts and opinions, shoild this be in exterior?

It depends on how much it cost to PC them. I PC'd some wheels and it cost me almost $100/wheel. It was definitely not worth $400. The tire place chipped the PC of the edge and in order to get the wheel re PC's it needed to be stripped with aircraft stripper ($50) and then re-powedercoated ($100).
I said **** that and bought some duplicolor wheel paint and duplicolor clear (less than $50 for 4 cans). I sanded them, painted and cleared. It took a days work, but they turned out nice and I've had them for 2 winters (Canadian winter with Salt /sand/ice /snow) and they still look good. Plus I know if I ever curb them I can touch them up for $10 can of paint. If its a showcar, PC them, if its a DD take a saturday and paint them. Just make sure you do it without tires on. Luc. |
