IT DEPENDS ON THE COLOR!

if you're doing black... rattlecan it

if you're doing white... powdercoat

my buddy has a set of evo rims (normally gunmetal) that we rattlecanned black... he rally races it and we havent had a single problem with them yet... they look like they were black out of the line... going on two years now... cost us like $30 to do them all

do it right though.... sand it all the way down, primer, paint, paint, paint, paint, paint, clearcoat a lot... use regular duplicolor clearcoat, DO NOT USE "WHEEL CLEARCOAT", that stuff sucks
